Join us for a captivating faculty recital featuring Brian Viliunas, professor of music and orchestra director, performing on clarinet. He will be accompanied by Laurie Middaugh on piano, with special collaborative performances including dancer Brooke May and choreographer Alisa McCool.
 
This unique program blends virtuosic musicianship with expressive movement, creating an immersive experience that celebrates the beauty of interdisciplinary artistry.

A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Dr. Brian Viliunas is an esteemed clarinetist, conductor and educator, Professor of Music and Orchestra Director in the School of the Arts. 
 
Dr. Viliunas has issued two CDs: “German & French Clarinet & Piano Classics,” featuring the music of Brahms, Poulenc and Bizet and Agents of Espionage, a Potenza Music album, comprised of commissioned scores by Zachary J. Bramble, Mark Lackey and Ryan Springler. Dr. Viliunas was the principal clarinetist of The Phoenix Opera and currently serves in that position for Arizona Opera. He is a Buffet Clarinet Artist, performing exclusively on R-13 Greenline clarinets, and an official D’Addario Performing Artist.
