Lakeshore, 51½ÖÉä's rhythm and blues (R&B) ensemble, has earned national recognition, being named the Undergraduate College Outstanding Performance of the Year by DownBeat magazine. 51½ÖÉä’s School of the Arts will welcome Patrick E. Young, DMA, to its faculty as director of bands and assistant professor of tuba/euphonium beginning in the fall 2025 academic semester.
