Kayleigh Smith

Director of Theatre

Kayleigh began performing in 51½ÖÉä Theatre productions at the age of 12. She was involved in over 25 plays at NACC before being hired as Director of Theatre. Kayleigh has worked as a choreographer for various theater companies, as well as an Actor/Academy Instructor at Birmingham Children’s Theatre, the Musical Theatre Instructor at Booker T. Washington Magnet High School in Montgomery, the Theatre Instructor at Scottsboro High School, and Theater Director at Plainview High School. She holds an A.A. from NACC, a B.A. in Theatre from Jacksonville State University, and an MA in Theatre from Regent University. Kayleigh feels honored to have been given this opportunity to serve the theatre and the community.

Brad Archer

Technical Director

Brad has taught at Suffolk Community College on Long Island and at High Point University in North Carolina. He has designed lighting and scenery for well over 50 productions and spent a summer in New Hampshire designing scenery for Mt. Washington Valley Theatre. He has designed lighting and/or scenery for HPU, UNCG, Dogwood Dell Amphitheatre, Off-Off Broadway, North Carolina Shakespeare Festival, and Piedmont Arts Association. He just recently completed a lighting design for Mill Mountain Theatre in Roanoke, Virginia. Brad grew up in Arkansas and is a huge Razorback fan. GO HOGS!!! When he can, he loves golf, racquetball, and watching college basketball. He holds a BFA from Arkansas State University and an MFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Trey Gilliland

Administrative Assistant

Trey is from Oneonta, Alabama. There he attended Oneonta High School where he was a marching and concert band captain, a trumpet section leader, a drama club member, and was captain of the tennis team. After high school he attended the University of North Alabama where he was a member of the Pride of Dixie Marching Band and he was president of the Music and Entertainment Industry Student Association. He was also a member of the Audio Engineering Society. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of North Alabama with a B.S. in Entertainment Industry Business, a minor in Public Relations and a minor in Business Administration. Trey loves music and plays trumpet and guitar in his spare time.
