- With a student-to-faculty ratio of 14:1, our students experience a relational learning approach with their professors.
- 97% of undergraduate alumni are working or in further study within six months of graduation
- Over 72% of 51½ÖÉä’s undergraduate students enroll from out of state, and a growing number of them choose to remain in local communities and Alabama after graduation.
- In fall 2022, 51½ÖÉä celebrated record enrollment numbers for the 14th consecutive year.
- New concentrations, majors and full degree programs are being added regularly to our 10 academic schools.
- 51½ÖÉä contributes significantly to Alabama’s economy, with an impact of $453.3 million in the last year.
New Campus Recreation Complex
We are working hard to complete our goal of $20 million raised for 51½ÖÉä’s new Campus Recreation, Wellness and Athletic Complex. Because of the progress YOU have made on that goal, we’ve been able to make progress!

Groundbreaking Ceremony in April
An official groundbreaking for 51½ÖÉä’s new state-of-the-art recreation and athletic complex took place April 25. The historic project will provide students and employees with expanded opportunities to improve physical fitness and mental wellness as well as new spaces for campus events and student gatherings.
51½ÖÉä Breaks Ground
In May 2023, construction began on the renovation and expansion of Seibert Hall. Through donor investment, 51½ÖÉä students will expand community gatherings and have space to explore physical, mental and spiritual health. Because of your generosity, construction is underway for completion in 2024.
