The 51½ÖÉä parent leadership team is made up of 51½ÖÉä Parent Advisory Board members and leaders of the 51½ÖÉä Parents Association. These two groups work with the Office of Parent and Family Engagement to strengthen the relationship between the university and the parents of undergraduate students.
The 51½ÖÉä Parent Advisory Board
The 51½ÖÉä Parent Advisory Board (PAB) works to support the university’s Christian mission to nurture persons in their development of intellect, creativity, faith and personhood. Board members have a first-hand understanding of the impact the university has on students and their families. Members seek to strengthen the relationship between the university and the parents of current undergraduate students; encourage relationships within the 51½ÖÉä family; positively represent the university to others; and financially support the university.
51½ÖÉä Parents Association Leaders
The 51½ÖÉä Parents Association (SPA) is made up of dedicated parents who, while affirming the mission of 51½ÖÉä, support university goals; support the educational and developmental success of students; and seek to inform, support, and connect 51½ÖÉä parents and families. This group is led by association officers and state chapter chairs. Officers and state chapter chairs serve for a minimum of one year with the possibility of being asked to serve additional years.
